There are others which provide comprehensive information to investors from charts to bulletin boards where investors are able to discuss topics such as specific companies and certain issues/problems they may have encountered these forums are extremely popular among investors and can be a valuable source of information. Some of these websites provide information for free others charge a monthly fee. The websites that charge a fee usually provide up to date company information or premium services.

Top Tips:

  1. When using a bulletin board be aware that there are certain subscribers who use these to try to ramp their own stock, so don’t be taken in by all you read.
  2. There are a large number of investor websites, many cover different areas of investment and many are free, don’t rush to subscribe to a website when you may well find after a little further digging that you can gain access to similar information for free.
  3. When you register with a website you are likely to receive weekly and in some cases daily emails from these sites, these could prove useful or alternatively very irritating, you can elect not to receive these.
