What is an Investment Show?
There are a number of investment shows held over the year. These usually take the form of various AIM and PLUS companies exhibiting, as well as brokers and advisors and various other investment related product providers. Entry is usually discounted if you apply before you go to the show through a particular publication or website. These shows can be a valuable source of information for very little cost.
Top Tips:
- Some exhibitors distribute investment publications and other useful information. Gather as much information as possible.
- Many stock brokers exhibit at these shows, but you should still shop around as this is usually only the tip of the iceberg.
- Certain shows will have a number of guest speakers or workshops; these are quite valuable to attend as you may be able to pick up investment ideas. You usually have to book in advance as these are quite popular.
- Remember that if listed Companies are exhibiting beware of any ‘hype’.
